We’ve got one more man than usual in Germany right now, and just this morning he came across this 2013 BMW 3-series mule trundling down the autobahn. These shots don't reveal any new information beyond what we already know about the upcoming 3-series, but they do confirm there will be a right-hand-drive version. The 2013 3-series will adopt a roster of new turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines along with a new dual-clutch automatic transmission and softened, more 5-series-like styling.
Interestingly, this prototype sedan our man caught wears more camouflage than the last 3-series our spy photographers managed to shoot; this one also has split dual-exhaust outlets versus the other car's offset twin-pipe cluster. This tester is likely a turbocharged six-cylinder model; the same dual-exhaust setup can be found on the current 335i coupe and sedan. The 2013 BMW 3-series should go on sale sometime in 2012.
