  1. The attention for Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Ford, Lincoln, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge models for the year 2012 has been fuel economy. Ford has introduced hybrid versions of both the Fusion and the Lincoln MKZ. Improvements have also been made to their F150s EcoBoost engine that has been a defining advance in the truck industry with an engine that can get up to 23 mpg.

With the increasing emphasis on fuel efficiency for 2012 the crossovers will continue to be increasingly popular. The Chevy Equinox, Cadillac SRX, Ford Edge, Ford flex, GMC Acadia, and Buick enclave have seen a definite increase in sales this year because of their fuel efficiency and large seating capabilities.
